Final Project (Final)

Went to buy mahjong paper to set up my simple "studio" so that the background is white and just like my previous attempt, I had to experiment with the minimal reflection angle, lighting condition, etc before I can do my actual shooting.

And this is my final version of my conceptual photography project:

Description: Toys represent ones’ imagination, aspirations and innocent, childhood fantasies. Looking at what used to keep kids entertained for hours in the olden days bring back memories and nostalgia moments for the older generation. Toys of yesterday capture popular toys of the 1960s to 1980s in Singapore and it suggests that just as memories of many of Singaporean who grew up with them, the toys are fading away with time. Children in the present and the future are not playing with these toys anymore. When a futuristic audience look at these photos, it allows them to ponder and imagine how life might have been as compared to their present days.
